Butterfly Effect

I am thrilled to present an outstanding collaborative project undertaken with my teammate, Charley Weaver. Together, we have successfully developed an engaging butterfly-themed game.

Within this project, players embark on a journey to survive the challenges of nature, requiring adept control of a butterfly, mastery of camouflage techniques, strategic activation of power-ups, meticulous pollen collection, and survival amidst a world teeming with adversaries.

In my role on this project, I assumed responsibility for crafting essential gameplay mechanics, designing user interface elements, and implementing various traps to enhance the player's experience.

My contributions include the creation of dynamic features such as the "Fly Faster" power-up, the intricately designed camouflage FBX model, integration of gamepad functionality for player control, and the development of diverse UI elements, among other significant contributions.

This compelling game is slated for release on the Steam platform in the near future. Currently in the development phase, we anticipate a launch within the next one to two years, with ongoing updates and enhancements planned.

While the game currently boasts two immersive levels, our commitment extends to continuous improvement, and we have plans to introduce additional levels in future updates to elevate the overall enjoyment and allure of the gaming experience.
